Words From Our Bridge Course Alumni

Hear from students who started their journey right after 10th and went on to build remarkable careers in interior design through PIID.

★★★★★

I joined the Bridge Course straight after my Class 10 boards. Three years later, I graduated with a full portfolio and landed a role at a leading design studio in Kolkata. Starting early was the best decision I ever made.

★★★★★

The 3-year format meant I had time to really absorb each concept before moving on. By Year 2, I was already working on real client briefs during workshops. PIID gave me a head start my peers couldn't match.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible for the Bridge Course to Graduation?
+

Any student who has passed their Class 10 (10th Standard / Madhyamik or equivalent) from a recognised board is eligible to apply — regardless of stream. This course is specifically designed to allow students to begin their design education immediately after 10th, without waiting to complete 12th.

How is the Bridge Course different from the Diploma or Graduation Diploma?
+

The Bridge Course is a 3-year program that starts from foundational creative skills in Year 1 and builds progressively to graduation-level design competency by Year 3. The Diploma is a 1-year post-12th course, and the Graduation Diploma is a standalone 2–3 year post-12th program. The Bridge Course is the only option open to students right after 10th.

What qualification will I receive after completing the course?
+

On successful completion of all 3 years and 6 semesters, students receive a PIID Graduation-level Diploma in Interior Designing — an industry-recognised qualification that qualifies you for positions in professional design firms, architecture studios, and hospitality companies across India.

Does PIID offer placement support for Bridge Course students?
+

Yes. All Bridge Course graduates receive the same placement support as other programs — including resume workshops, mock interviews, and direct referrals to PIID's 12+ hiring partner companies. We offer guaranteed placement assistance to all graduating students.

What software will I learn during the 3 years?
+

Students are introduced to digital tools progressively. By Year 2 you will be proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawing, and by Year 3 you will have hands-on experience with SketchUp for 3D modelling, V-Ray for rendering, Adobe Photoshop, and CorelDRAW for design presentations. All training takes place in our fully equipped computer lab.

Can I continue studying further after this course?
+

Yes. Graduates of the Bridge Course are eligible to advance to PIID's Advanced Professional PG Program in Interior Designing or the Post Graduation Program, giving you an accelerated route to senior design roles, studio leadership, or your own independent practice.
